Missouri State vs Oklahoma live stream, watch online, TV channel, kickoff time, highlights, score updates. How to watch Oklahoma’s season opener against Missouri State on Saturday

if you’ve been patiently waiting to watch No. 5 Oklahoma open the 2020 season vs. Missouri State on Saturday, you’ll need to pay for it — literally. The Sooners are set to face off with the FCS Bears in a game that can only be seen either on pay-per-view or in person. Not that this game will be of much national interest, but there are a couple of interesting storylines to keep an eye on if you’re so inclined to pay attention.

So while there’s not necessarily a lot about this game that will have major national implications — short of a massive upset, of course — there are some things to follow as we move forward with the season. Check out this game’s storylines and viewing information below.
Storylines

Oklahoma: As usual, there’s going to be a lot of focus on the Sooners’ offense and quarterback Spencer Rattler, in particular. The former five-star prospect saw some snaps in 2019 as a backup, but this will be his first start. He shouldn’t have a hard time against Missouri State, and he has plenty of help around him, including leading returning wideout Charleston Rambo.

Of perhaps lesser importance in Week 2, but still something to watch, is how Oklahoma handles the running game. Kennedy Brooks opted out of the season, Trey Sermon transferred and Rhamondre Stevenson is facing a NCAA suspension. T.J. Pledger, who had 65 yards and a touchdown last year, is likely to lead a running back by committee approach until the depth chart settles a bit. Most people outside some Oklahoma fans will have to wait another week to see how these storylines work out, but first impressions are going to be made here.

Missouri State: Did you know the Bears are coached by Bobby Petrino? It’s true! And it’s something that was easily forgotten until it became clear college football was actually going to be played this fall. The Bears are actually only playing three games this fall as part of an amended season: Saturday’s game vs. Oklahoma and then not one, but two games against Central Arkansas. Missouri State is coming off a 1-11 season in 2019, so Petrino isn’t going to have many opportunities to rebuild this program on the field for the foreseeable future. It’s one of those bad situations for a program stuck in a ditch.

Georgia Tech vs Florida State Live Stream | 2020 NCAA College Football Week 2

Georgia Tech vs Florida State Live Stream | 2020 NCAA College Football Week 2. How and what to watch for Georgia Tech vs. Florida State. Georgia Tech and Florida State will meet for the first time since 2015. Where should you bet heading into the ACC matchup? The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will head on the road to play the Florida State Seminoles in the season opener between the two teams.

Georgia Tech is heading into its second year under Geoff Collins, still working out the kinks of transitioning out of the triple-option offense. The Yellow Jackets predictably struggled in 2019 to a 3-9 record, but they return nine returning starters on offense and another 10 on the defensive side of the ball. Georgia Tech has not announced a starter publicly, but the two most likely candidates are sophomore James Graham and freshman Jeff Sims.

Florida State has struggled by its standard in recent years and will be led by a new head coach as Mike Norvell makes his Seminoles debut after a successful run at Memphis. Willie Taggart made it just 21 days leading Florida State before being fired last season. The Seminoles will need to shore up their offensive line this season in an area that was a major struggle in 2019.

The two ACC teams haven’t played each other since 2015, which was a 22-16 home win for Georgia Tech.
Game Time/TV Channel/Streaming

Saturday’s game will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida. The game will be aired on ABC.
Point Spread, Totals, Odds, Trends

Point spread: Georgia Tech (+13) vs. Florida State
Point Total: O/U 52 (-110)
Money line: Georgia Tech (+420), Florida State (-590)

Georgia Tech finished 3-9 straight up last season.
The Yellow Jackets went 3-8-1 against the spread in 2019.
Florida state finished 6-7 in 2019 with a Sun Bowl loss to Arizona State.
The Seminoles went 4-8-1 against the spread last season.

The Best Bet

Florida State has more talent than Georgia Tech, and the Seminoles have all the pieces that could come together for a solid season in year 1 under Norvell. We’ve been fooled by the Seminoles for several years now, so who knows what we’ll see in Week 1 especially with an inconsistent quarterback in James Blackman. It was clear Georgia Tech’s changes on offense would take years to fix, so the Yellow Jackets will have plenty of question marks going into the season. With so much unknown, let’s go with a sloppy game with both teams struggling to get much going.

Pick: Under 52

WATCH Duke vs Notre Dame Live Stream | NCAA College Football 2020 Week 2

WATCH Duke vs Notre Dame Live Stream | NCAA College Football 2020 Week 2. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon in their first game as a temporary ACC team. For years, we wondered what it would take to get Notre Dame football into a conference. We finally got that answer, and it’s a global-wide pandemic.

Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book could be a Heisman Trophy candidate if he and the Fighting Irish are able to pull off a special season in the ACC. He finished off 2019 on a hot streak with 13 touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last three games. If he plays like that consistently throughout this season, the Fighting Irish will be national title contenders.

For Duke, we finally get to see what quarterback Chase Brice can do. He spent the past three seasons at Clemson before transferring to play for the Blue Devils. Head coach David Cutcliffe named him the starter for Saturday’s game. Cutcliffe will take over play-calling duties this season, and Duke should have a solid defense, which was its strong suit last season.

Duke and Notre Dame played each other in 2019 in Durham, North Carolina with the Fighting Irish winning easily in a 38-7 victory.
Game Time/TV Channel/Streaming

Saturday’s game will begin at 2:30 p.m. ET at Notre Dame Stadium. The game will be aired on NBC.
Point Spread, Totals, Odds, Trends

Point spread: Duke (+19.5) vs. Notre Dame
Point Total: O/U 54.5 (-110)
Money line: Duke (+850), Miami (-1667)

Duke finished 5-7 straight up in 2019.
The Blue Devils went 4-6-2 against the spread last season.
In 2019, Notre Dame finished 11-2 overall with a win in the Camping World Bowl.
The Fighting Irish went 9-4 against the spread last season.

The Best Bet

Duke’s offense was in need of a change after last season when it finished 11th in the ACC in scoring. Will Cutcliffe taking over the offense lead to an immediate change? Will Brice provide a spark after being forced to sit behind Trevor Lawrence the past few seasons? Maybe both of those things will happen over the course of the season, but Notre Dame is a significantly better team than Duke, and the offense will take time to develop. Let’s go with the Fighting Irish in a blowout for their first ever ACC game.

Who’s Playing

Louisiana-Monroe @ Army West Point

Last Season Records: Army West Point 5-8; Louisiana-Monroe 5-7
What to Know

The Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks will face off against the Army West Point Black Knights at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Blaik Field at Michie Stadium. Last year was nothing to brag about for the Warhawks (5-7), so the team is looking forward to a new start. Army West Point was 5-8 last season and is coming off of a 42 to nothing victory against the Middle Tenn. Blue Raiders this past Saturday.

Two last-season stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Louisiana-Monroe was third worst when it came to rushing yards allowed per game last year, with the squad giving up 252.7 on average. To make matters even worse for Louisiana-Monroe, Army West Point was third best in the nation in rushing yards per game, finishing the 2019 season with 297.2 on average. So the Louisiana-Monroe squad has its work cut out for it.

Since the experts predict a loss, Louisiana-Monroe will need to dig deep. Perhaps they’ll be able to flip the script and come out with a big win.
